Find out (scientifically) if you're taking enough magnesium
Have you ever wondered if you’re taking the best amount and type of magnesium for your body?
Well, knowing the truth about this will help you move to the next level in your quest for better health.
Until now, you’ve probably just started with the recommended dosage of magnesium and then adjusted your dosage based on your own assessment of how it is affecting you. But, did you know there is a more scientific approach to knowing how the compound type and dosage is affecting your body?
It’s like the difference between guessing how fast the car is going and actually reading the speedometer.
I am happy to announce that we are participating in the world’s largest crowd-funded nutrient research project: Grassroots Health Magnesium*PLUS. If you choose to participate, you will enjoy the benefit of science-based research using data from yourself and 1000’s of other participants.
Here are some questions it can help answer for you:
- How might magnesium be working for me?
- What specific health outcomes are associated with this nutrient for me?
- How can I figure out how much to take?
- Does it matter if I’m also taking vitamin D? Omega-3?
- Does it matter which type of magnesium compound I take? Which product? What time of day? How often?
- Does taking magnesium affect my level of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and subsequent thyroid function?
- What are the demonstrated health outcomes used to create this nutrient’s recommended range? (In other words, what is the recommended range actually based upon?)
By participating in this project, you will learn your individual response to supplementation via blood testing and analysis of a detailed questionnaire and monthly tracking of symptoms.
Everyone experiences a unique response to supplementation or nutrient intake called the dose-response, which can be due to factors such as current health conditions, digestive health, co-nutrient status, medications, genetics and more. With this testing, you can learn your individual dose response.
Measuring your nutrient status weekly, as well as completing monthly assessments and then re-testing is the only way to tell if your nutrient intake is helping you achieve sufficient or desired nutrient status which is tied to particular health outcomes.
The participation in the program is free but the test kits must be purchased twice – once at the beginning of the program to establish a baseline and once at the end to establish the progress made during the time of participation. Each test kit is $214.00. Yes, that is quite a bit of money, but we believe the personalized and group information you will receive makes this the best investment you will ever make in your long term health.
And because we believe in this so much, we are going to sweeten the deal…
In addition to receiving the test kit and valuable personal data – you will also receive $214.00 in product discounts over the course of the 6 month participation schedule. These discounts [$35.67 monthly on select items] are intended to generously offset the cost of enrollment in the project and support your supplementation efforts and research-targeted outcomes.

I am only taking one supplement, can I still participate?
You will not maximize your value by only using one supplement - nor does Dr. Dean recommend that our modern lifestyle is sustained by a single supplement. You will get the most out of testing by adding at least one of our other supplements, for example, ReMyte Mineral Solution which contains 12 minerals in perfect proportions for cellular function, 9 of which activate the thyroid.
What does participation involve?
Testing for Magnesium, Omega-3 Index, Vitamin D and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) twice in 6 months for a minimum of 2 sets of tests and weekly information. Each time you test, you will be completing a new health questionnaire. Every week you will be completing a tracker to monitor your results.
The participation in the program is free but the test kits must be purchased twice – once at the beginning of the program to establish a baseline and once at the end to establish the progress made during the time of participation. Each test kit is $214.00. You will also receive $214.00 in product discounts over the course of the 6 month participation schedule to offset the cost of enrollment in the project and support your supplementation efforts and research-targeted outcomes.
Included automatically with your participation is the use of the myData-myAnswers personalized health software along with special reports to you showing analysis of your individual data as well as comparisons of where you are with everyone else in the project.
Remember, this is a research process and so noticing the weekly outcomes of the individual is important. Each participant will receive a weekly tracker to fill out to quantify these results. The weekly tracker is not nearly as extensive as the intake questionnaire and provides valuable tracking to each participant.
